DUTCH VASE FOR HYDROPONIC 10 LITERS BATO
Bato vase for hydroponics, volume 10 liters, dimensions 25x25x23 cm.
Bato vases, also known as Dutch vases or Dutch Buckets represent an excellent solution for setting up hydroponic cultivation systems for all types of sizes, from small greenhouses to large commercial greenhouses.
They are easy to assemble and allow you to customize your cultivation area following the spacing and cultivation method needs.
DUTCH VASE PROPERTIES FOR HYDROPONIC
The peculiarity of the Dutch pots for hydroponics lies in their shape which allows them to be installed along a drain line (consisting of a 50mm diameter pipe), while a special “overflow” pipe is mounted inside, it ensures that around 2 liters of solution is always available for the plant in the vessel, thus reducing the risks due to a sudden stop of the water pump for the distribution of the solution.
System assembly
The hydroponic systems with Bato vessels require a supply line, which will bring the solution through a water pump from a tank distributing it to each individual vessel, and a discharge line where the solution will be conveyed from the vessels to the tank.
Substrates
Usually the plants grown in Bato pots grow inside expanded clay or perlite, possibly also in a mix of them.
