DRAIN CAP FOR NFT CHANNEL 100X80 MM

Drain cap for NFT channel 100×80 mm whit 32mm outlet size. Available in pack of 1/8 or 16 units
You can connecting it whit any 32mm PP push-fit fitting or PVC fitting (NOT INCLUDED) for send back the nutrient solution from the NFT channel to the system reservoir.
In order to prevent from leakage we suggest to seal the DRAIN CAP with PVC cement glue or silicone sealant.

NFT Hydroponics systems: how does it works

NFT is the acronym for Nutrient Film Tecnique (nutritive film technique), an hydroponic cultivation method widely used especially among growers of green leafy plants such as salad or basil.
In these types of systems, the solution constantly flows along a slightly sloping surface as the plant roots grow in contact with it.
The costant flow charges the nutrient solution with oxygen allow the plants development absorption of nutrients.
The NFT hydroponic cultivation systems is made with plastic channels whit pre drilled removable lids.
It can be adapted to the various types of space available, extending the cultivation both horizontally and vertically.
